Level 2 Trail Module – Golden, BC – Jul 4-5 2020
The two-day L2 TRAIL Module is a professional training module that can be used in a variety of ways, by either PMBI Level 1 or 2 instructors and guides;
- PMBI Level 1 Instructors wanting to improve their own riding and advanced maneuvers, such as basic wheelies, manuals and bunnyhops
- PMBI Level 1 Instructors preparing for the Level 2
- PMBI Level 2 Instructors wanting to update their skills and re-certify
- PMBI Level 2 “Air” Instructors keen to learn about teaching technical maneuvers, such as basic manuals, wheelies, bunnyhops and endos.
This course includes two days of on-bike training, rider improvement, teaching practice, assessment and feedback, plus access to the latest PMBIA Reference Guide & L2 TRAIL Module Booklet.
The first day focuses on Skill-based teaching, reviewing the skill development ideas on the Level 2 course, including example lesson presentations and practice teaching. Day two will see instructors review the maneuver component of the ‘TRAIL’ Level 2 Course, as instructors explore the progressions for safely introducing riders to basic manuals, wheelies, bunnyhops and endos.
Additional workshops including the Level 2 worksheet (to be completed before the course), goal setting and suspension set-up, will also be included.
You must have completed the PMBI Level 1 course and be a current member to attend this module.
