El curso de Nivel 1 de PMBIA esta orientado tanto a profesores sin experiencia como a profesores que quieren mejorar su enseñanza, en MTB – Enduro –  Descenso 

Los alumnos aprenderán herramientas para seguridad y enseñanza efectiva, mientras que los ya profesores con experiencia mejoraran su nivel de habilidades y entendimiento de la teoría y tecnica de conducción con la certificación P.M.B.I.A

En PMBIA se da mucha importancia a la enseñanza de habilidades por separado, para el desarrollo de las clases de MTB.

Cada día los candidatos tendran tiempo de practicar su conducción y sus clases como futuros profesores con la ayuda del demostrador. ( Evaluacion continua)

Hablaremos tambien de seguridad, mecánica, primeros auxilios, ajustes personales de la bici y comportamiento en el medio natural.

LEVEL 1

The Level 1 course is for both new and experienced instructors alike, looking to learn how to skillfully teach and guide beginner to intermediate mountain bikers, in both cross country and downhill environments. New instructors learn the tools they need to safely and effectively teach, while experienced instructors will increase their level of skill and understanding in teaching and riding theory, that the PMBI Certifications uniquely provide.

A strong focus is given to learning teaching skills in their own right, to develop a sense of this all-important part of a mountain bike lesson. As you learn and practice proven, modern teaching skills through the course, you’ll see how being a good rider is only one part of being a professional instructor.

Riding skills and theory are also covered along with plenty of time to practice as well as receiving personal feedback for your own improvement, each day. The three-day course is practical-based, spending each day riding and teaching on the trails. Additional PMBI Workshops covering topics such as bike-fit, mechanics and first aid, take place at the start or end of each day, to further build your knowledge and skillset during the course.

Courses that require the use of ski lifts or shuttles will require tickets to be purchased in addition to the course fees.

This course will be taught in SPANISH. However, most of the course materials are in English,

Level 2 AIR – Spain – Madrid – Cercedilla – October 7-10 2022

The PMBI Level 2 course focuses on teaching and guiding strong-intermediate to advanced riders. Skill development is typically much safer and easier when students learn techniques in terrain appropriate for their ability level. Candidates will learn how to further consolidate intermediate skills in their students, while introdcing more advanced skills at higher speeds, mostly on green and blue terrain.

A strong focus is given to further analyzing the Six Skills of riding during the course, to ensure a deeper understanding of the physics, skills, and biomechanics involved in riding at the advanced ability level. In addition, advanced teaching skills are also presented on the Level 2 course that requires a consolidation of the Level 1 Teaching Material. Typically, at least a season of full-time teaching is required between the two courses for a successful result.

Split into halves, one side of the course looks at teaching the fundamental “Six Skills”, through skill-based lessons. The other side looks at teaching advanced maneuvers.
